Why should I listen?

If you’re a U.S. company with offices in the European Union (EU) or that does business with EU companies, listen up. The EU’s Value-Added Tax in the Digital Age initiative (or ViDA) aims to achieve real-time or near real-time VAT reporting by 2030. As a result, EU countries are implementing e-invoicing mandates to ensure all businesses align with ViDA requirements.

If you buy from or sell to EU-based businesses, your invoices will have to comply with these upcoming e-invoicing changes— and with many EU countries rolling out e-invoicing mandates in the next 12-18 months, the clock is ticking to ensure your invoices are up to speed.

This episode of Esker On Air is your guide to understanding e-invoicing mandates — what they are, what they mean for your business and how you can prepare. Anna Mevellec, Product Manager here at Esker, sits down with host Scott Leahy to shed light on:

What e-invoicing mandates involve & why so many countries are moving in this direction
Which countries are already enforcing e-invoicing & which ones are coming next
Why U.S. companies need to pay attention to these mandates
How Esker helps businesses with e-invoicing compliance
